Our Fellow delivered a 2-hour lecture at Liverpool John Moore's University, focusing on the intersection of counter-terrorism practices, targeted killing policies, and international human rights law. Criminology students, in particular, had questions about counter-terrorism practices. They were especially interested in the morality and ethics of these practices and their implications for criminal justice processes concerning due process. The second half of the lecture focused on the British drone targeted killing program and its comparison to the US policy, considering the ongoing debate in the American jurisdiction.
